This Privacy Policy describes how Moto Coach AI ("Moto Coach AI", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the Moto Coach AI mobile application (the "App").

1. Who we are

Moto Coach AI is a California corporation that provides an AI-powered motocross coaching service through the Moto Coach AI iOS app.

2. Information we collect

We try to collect only what we need to deliver coaching. Specifically:

Account information

• A unique Apple user identifier (from Sign in with Apple) used to identify your account
• Your name, if you choose to share it with us through Sign in with Apple
• Your email address, if you choose to share it with us through Sign in with Apple (this may be Apple's private relay email address)

Profile information

• Your selected age group (Youth or Adult) for the rider in the video, not the account holder
• Your self-reported skill level (Novice, Intermediate, or Pro)

Riding videos you upload

• Video files you upload for analysis
• Technical metadata (file size, frame rate, resolution, duration) extracted from those videos
• Optional scenario hints you provide (e.g., "Corner", "Jump")

Analysis results

• AI-generated coaching feedback, scores, and recommended drills based on your videos
• Extracted key-moment screenshots from your videos
• The model version used to generate each analysis

Feedback

• Ratings, scenario corrections, and free-text notes you choose to submit through the in-app feedback form

Device information

• Device model and iOS version (sent with each analysis request to help us debug compatibility issues)
• App version

We do not collect: your location, your contacts, your photo library beyond the specific video you choose to upload, your browsing activity, your other apps, biometric data, or any data designed for advertising tracking.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Authenticate you and maintain your account
• Process your video uploads and generate coaching analyses
• Store your past sessions so you can revisit them
• Improve our coaching using the feedback you submit and aggregate, non-identifying analysis of how the app is used
• Diagnose technical problems and improve app reliability
• Respond to support requests

We do not use your information for advertising or sell it to third parties.

4. Who we share your information with

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party service providers ("subprocessors") to operate the App. They process your information only on our behalf and only for the purposes listed above:

• Apple Inc. — Sign in with Apple authentication
• Anthropic, PBC — AI analysis of your uploaded riding videos and extracted frames, used solely to generate your coaching feedback (https://www.anthropic.com). We access Anthropic's services under its Commercial Terms of Service. Under those terms, Anthropic does not use your content to train its AI models, and video content sent for analysis is automatically deleted from Anthropic's systems within 30 days. Anthropic maintains SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and ISO 42001 certifications, providing data protections equivalent to those described in this policy. • Render Services Inc. — Application hosting, database hosting, and Redis queue
• Cloudflare Inc. — Video and image storage (via Cloudflare R2)

Each of these providers has their own privacy practices, which you can review on their websites.

AI processing and your consent. To generate coaching, the videos you choose to upload are sent to Anthropic (the third-party AI service described above) for analysis. Before your first analysis, the App shows you a disclosure and asks you to agree to this processing; no video is sent for analysis until you have agreed. Neither Moto Coach AI nor Anthropic uses your uploaded videos to train AI models.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Moto Coach AI, our users, or the public.

5. How long we keep your information

• Account information: retained for as long as your account is active.
• Uploaded videos: retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual analyses (and their associated videos) from your history at any time.
• Analysis results: retained for as long as your account is active.
• Feedback submissions: retained for as long as your account is active and used in aggregate to improve coaching quality.
• Account deletion: when you request account deletion through the App, we delete all of your account information, uploaded videos, and analysis results within 30 days of receiving your request.

6. Deleting your account

You can request account deletion from inside the App at any time. To do so:

1. Open the App and go to Settings → Account → Delete account
2. Tap Email support — this opens your email app with a pre-filled deletion request
3. Send the email to support@motocoachai.app

We will delete all of your account information, uploaded videos, and analysis results within 30 days of receiving your request, and we will confirm by email when the deletion is complete.

If you cannot access the App, you can also request deletion by emailing support@motocoachai.app directly.

7. Your privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect about you and how we use it
• Access a copy of your personal information
• Delete your personal information
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell or share, so there's nothing to opt out of)
• Non-discrimination for exercising these rights

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@motocoachai.app and we will respond within 45 days as required by law.

8. Children's privacy and minors in videos

Account holders must be 18 years of age or older. Before using the App, every user must affirmatively confirm they are 18 or older. The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account or knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 as an account holder.

Moto Coach AI is designed for motocross riders, coaches, and parents. Many of our users upload videos of minor riders for coaching purposes. The "Youth" option in our onboarding refers to the rider in the video being analyzed, not the account holder. If any video an account holder uploads shows a minor, the account holder represents and warrants that they are that minor's parent or legal guardian, or that they have obtained permission from the minor's parent or legal guardian to upload the footage. The adult account holder is solely responsible for having the right to upload any footage they submit and agrees to hold Moto Coach AI harmless from any claim arising from footage they upload.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If we learn that an account was created by someone under 18, or that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information and the associated account as quickly as possible. If you believe we have any such information, please contact us at support@motocoachai.app.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information:

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
• Authentication uses industry-standard JWT verification against Apple's public keys
• Video files are stored in encrypted object storage
• Database access is restricted to our application servers

No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever experience a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.

10. International users

Moto Coach AI is operated from the United States. If you use the App from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after a change becomes effective means you accept the updated policy.
